Chocolate Truffles

These are so rich, creamy and delicious; you will die and go to heaven if you are a chocolate lover!

Ingredients Makes 40-60 balls

280ml cream

50ml rum

750g Whittaker's dark chocolate (I use Whittaker's as it's palm oil free!)

 

Method

  1. 1. Heat cream and rum in a pot until just boiled.
  2. 2. Take off the heat and add chocolate, gently whisk until all of the chocolate has melted and there are no lumps.
  3. 3. Chill.
  4. 4. Roll truffles into balls about 1.5cm (12-15g) in diameter. Dip in cocoa and shake off excess

Or alternatively you can roll in crushed hazelnuts or any other coating you feel like.
